So, its been more than a year now. Several events have happened in my life. Music is one thing that held me together in these challenging times. Life has to move on, and while working at it, happened to listen to this song on a drive with friend and brother Sushanth Shankar. The song somehow was an had an instant liking from me due to the good feeling it brought about. When I suggested Sushanth to do a cover together, he readily agreed and was excited !!

Finally, we did it. It's not perfect, nevertheless not bad either. Enjoy!

This song was requested by Rahul Soman and was recorded more than a year ago. This song had led to my discovery of music director Gopi Sunder, who has a great ability to add colour to his songs, and present them quite impressively. His tunes and plagiarism are a subject of debate :-)

This is one of Vishal Bharadwaj's earliest published compositions and which created a ripple among music lovers at that time. This song is from a strongly themed movie directed by none other than Gulzar saab and was also much critically acclaimed. The song fitted into the movie so well. This is a humble attempt at what we could deliver of the beautiful song.

This song appears at the end of the movie when the credits roll. Created an impact on me while I was leaving the theater, for the nice movie and this song as a reinforcer at the very end.
I have been liking Bijibal’s music, from the few songs that I have heard of him, like this one and the one from Paleri Manickam. Singing this was very tough for me as usual with no expressions inherent in me. However it was a great learning experience with Unni guiding me all throughout the recording.

Have been busy with some personal stuff for past several weeks. So excuse me all ye friends, who haven’t seen my posts of late.

I have known this song since ages. Always wanted to sing it, but didn’t have the courage to. Looks like god’s handiwork to put the hottest star of the moment to live right across my apartment building. He wouldn’t let me sleep until I was done with this project. He owns it.

Had some fun moments while recording this, and was relatively tough song for him. So you know how it would have been for me :D

Thanks to my wife Lakshmi, who lets us do all these crazy acts in her house in the middle of Sunday night. Love you!
